Effortless, Detailed Zeiss Trail Camera

The Zeiss Secacam 7 Trail Camera is designed for detailed high-contrast wildlife imaging, featuring a 60-black LED infrared flash and light-sensitive sensor for excellent illumination in complete darkness. It's ideal for nighttime wildlife observation and offers very easy adjustments with a fixed lens and independent front flap.

This Zeiss Trail camera operates with optimized intelligent default settings but allows for customization via a large colour display and backlit keys. It is compatible with the ZEISS Secacam App for easy connectivity, providing camera status data, location, and photo sharing.

Ready to use out of the box, it comes with a multi-roaming SIM, 32 GB memory card, and batteries. The integrated SIM enables transmission in 35 countries at no extra charge. The camera's rugged housing is weather-resistant, and it boasts a fast trigger speed of <0.35 ~ 0.45 seconds. Simple maintenance is ensured with a battery magazine for quick battery replacement and low-power data processing for prolonged usage.

A well engineered product that looks like it will last years, and controlling the camera settings remotely is fantastic, for say pausing the capture when placing or recovering the camera. I haven't tried the AI learning function yet, and was surprised to get share request from a German company, but it's apparently the AI manager requesting the photos to machine learn. In the meantime we've proved the neighbours cat has taken nearly three years to learn his playmate passed, and there's no more free treats!
The only issue I've had is with the Zeiss app, it's not the most intuitive, and you need the log on and your email open concurrently, as soon as you start logging on with an email, Zeiss ping you a one time code to enter as the next data point, and if you leave the Zeiss app screen, you have to start again, so I found it impossible on a phone, but easy on a desktop. After that registration with the cameras unique code from the scratch off card is easy, as is adding further cameras.
The data charges are really good, the premium package for unlimited videos and photos is about £10 a month ( price of a beer and pub crisps). I heard other older American camera manufacturers offer more functions for less , but just don't connect to the European phone system,
